Shine On Sports: A Sports Investment Company
Shine On Sports is a sports-focused investment company that is centered around investing in various sports teams. This company was also used in a branding project at college. This company sponsor hockey teams including the Savannah Ghost Pirates and the Greensboro Gargoyles. As such, the company should feel energetic, but also professional. The logo is bold yet sleek, with a pop of color to draw the eye. The stationary uses color to create an energetic feeling while remaining professional. If wanted, the logo can also be easily modified to be sport-specific, although this is not an option the company is interested in using right now. The use of wide fonts, pops of color, and horizontal lines all communicate a feeling of energy and speed, while simultaneously communicating the professionalism of the company.
Currently, Shine On Sports is officially using the main logo, business card, and letterhead I designed.
The logo utilizes a modified version of the Ethnocentric font. The secondary font- Commuters Sans is also a wide font and can be seen on the business card and website mockup. This logo is being officially used by Shine On Sports.
The sports-specific logos are used only on sports-specific merchandise. While Shine On currently only invests in Hockey teams, they are prepared to create specialized logos for any sport. The hockey logo can be seen on the specialized jersey.
A business card, letterhead, and website mockup were created to emphasize the business portion of the company. The star streaks help bring the energy of the logo into other parts of the brand. Both the business card and letterhead are being officially used by Shine On Sports.
This is a mockup of a possible jersey for the Ghost Pirates, which is one of the teams that Shine On Sports sponsors. The illustrated design is included as the mockup is not completely accurate to the original design. The jersey incorporates the neon green of the Ghost Pirates branding with the more bold green of Shine On Sports.
