Quest Log: Turn your Chores into an Adventure
Quest Log is a calendar and digital to-do list that is designed to help reframe your day-to-day life as a game. The app aims to provide a fun, colorful, and easy-to-navigate interface that makes doing daily tasks feel more manageable. The goal of this project was design a fun, helpful calendar and time management app to help people who struggle to stay on top of chores. The app should be fun to look at, and users should be excited to start their day with this app on their side.
These comprise the main flow of Quest Log. There are of course further steps that can be taken down each flow, such as a daily calendar, a more specific look at tasks, and saved tips and quotes, but when clicking on the icons along the bottom of the app, these are the screens that will show up.
These are some of the screens that add to the video game functions.
-The progress section allows you to see all of your previous and current tasks, as well as visualizing how much you have done and how much you have left to do.
-The Level Up screen shows you your current level, tells you how far you have to go until the next level, and what rewards you will receive for reaching that level.
-The Themes screen can be accessed through the settings. It comes with a few themes that are pre-unlocked as well as several that can be unlocked through leveling up or completing achievements. In addition to being an aesthetic change, it also doubles as an accessibility feature for colorblind users.
The Style Guide shows the logo, app icon, all fonts, and custom elements.
In addition to the app, a mockup of the App Store page, an instagram ad, and two popup ads were created as well.
